NATIA (National Technical Investigators’ Association) is a non-profit law enforcement educational association whose purpose is to further knowledge and skills for law enforcement and intelligence professionals supporting technical surveillance, tactical operations, and forensic activities.

IntriCon Completes Acquisition, Camden Facility operating as IntriCon Tibbetts Corp. |
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - ST. PAUL, Minn.
IntriCon Corporation (AMEX: IIN), a designer, developer, manufacturer and distributor of miniature and micro-miniature medical and electronics products, today announced it has completed its $4.5 million acquisition of privately held Tibbetts Industries, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of microphone and receiver components used in hearing aids and medical devices. In the transaction, previously announced in April 2007, IntriCon acquired substantially all of Tibbetts’ assets. Tibbetts’ management is remaining with IntriCon and serving in their current roles. The Camden facility is proudly operating as "IntriCon Tibbetts Corporation"

Tibbetts Industries, a recognized leader in acoustic transducer development and manufacturing, has reorganized its technical resources to provide enhanced support for its customers in the various markets served.
This reorganization combines the technical staff supporting transducer development and manufacturing with the technical talent supporting its Security Products division. With the breadth and depth of the products and services we provide, this will improve our capabilities by pooling these engineering and technical resources for better alignment to meet our customers' needs.

The celebration included an outdoor luncheon for all employees, as well as numerous guests and dignitaries.

Tibbetts Industries Announces Audiocoil Joint Venture
|

At the 2003 UHA Congress, Tibbetts Industries publicly announced an
agreement to create Global Coils SAGL, a 50/50 joint venture with R.
Audemars SA. This new company will exclusively serve the specialized and
evolving needs of the Hearing Health market. Since 1994 the two parent companies
have worked together in the field of implantable medical devices. Building on
this relationship, the long-time partners combined industry know-how,
engineering expertise, and the latest micro-manufacturing processes to form the
first international coil supplier exclusively serving the Hearing Health market.
Global Coils offers the audiocoil technology and components needed by today's
world-class hearing instrument manufacturers.
The mission of this joint venture is to be the most reliable and effective
partner serving the Hearing Health industry in the research, development, and
manufacture of audiocoil (telecoil) components. The goal of Global Coils SAGL
is to deliver products that provide the best value to hearing instrument
manufacturers and the best experience to hearing instrument consumers when using
telephones, assistive listening devices and other wireless communication
devices.
Beginning December 1, 2003 all Hearing Health audiocoil products previously
available from Tibbetts Industries and R. Audemars SA will be available

to market microphones and balanced armature receivers to serve the
Hearing Health and Commercial markets.
